Historique :	La statue provient probablement de l'ancien couvent des Cordeliers disparu à la Révolution. Anciennement dans la cour de l'auberge Saint-Christophe, elle a été déplacée dans l'église.

Précision_sur la representation :	Vêtu de la bure franciscaine à ample capuchon, serrée à la taille par la corde à noeuds traditionnelle à laquelle s'accroche un rosaire retombant sur le flanc gauche, le saint est debout, nu-tête. Du pied droit, il foule le globe terrestre, alors que la main gauche s'appuie sur la poitrine. La main droite tient un crucifix. La figure est légèrement tournée vers la droite et s'encadre d'un collier de barbe. La moustache faiblement retombante cache les commissures des lèvres. Une étroite couronne de cheveux entoure le crâne rond. (Eugène Voltz, membre correspondant de la Commission Supérieure des Monuments Historiques, avril 1986).
