Précision_sur la representation :	Le saint, décapité, debout en costume militaire, porte une tunique arrêtée au-dessus du genou. Les manches courtes en dégagent les avant-bras. De la cuirasse, qui protège le buste, s'échappent les extrémités d'une ceinture. Les jambes sont nues et chaussées de bottes dont la tige évasée ne dépasse par la moitié du mollet. Le personnage présente la tête coupée, tenue légèrement de biais, à hauteur du menton, entre le pouce et l'index de la main droite. La main gauche repose sur le front et retient en même temps la palme des martyrs qui épouse la ligne de l'avant-bras levé verticalement. L'avant-bras droit serre contre le corps la hambe d'une lance légèrement inclinée qui prend appui sur la tête, au niveau de la tempe. La figure s'encadre d'une chevelure rejoignant la barbe en collier sur laquelle retombent les extrémités d'une moustache. Les lèvres assez épaisses ont une expression douloureuse.
