Précision_sur la representation :	La sainte est représentée debout, les pieds nus, dans le costume de l'ordre des Clarisses, dont elle fut la fondatrice. La taille est ceinte de la cordelière franciscaine à trois noeuds. Le genou de la jambe droite légèrement pliée se devine par une tension de l'étoffe de la robe tombant en plis droits. La main droite qui s'échappe du manteau largement ouvert est repliée sur la poitrine. La gauche qui tient la custode eucharistique, taillée avec l'avant-bras dans une pièce séparée et goujonnée, est détachée. Prise sous le voile et enveloppée par les plis de la guimpe, la figure est d'une grande beauté, atténuée par la sérénité du regard ouvert sur la vision intérieure. Au-dessus de la bouche petite et fine, le nez droit se prolonge par la courbe relevée des arcades sourcillières bien dessinées. (Eugène Voltz, Conservateur des Antiquités et Objets d'Art, 1981).
