Précision_sur la representation :	Le saint, debout contre le tronc d'arbre qui le dépasse en hauteur, est attaché par des cordes qui enveloppent les chevilles et le poignet du bras gauche levé fixé contre une branche. Le corps est dépouillé de ses vêtements ; un périzonium couvre les hanches, ceinturé par un double enroulement de corde. Le bras droit, lié au niveau du coude, pend au long du corps. La figure juvénile et imberbe frappe par son regard absent sous une couronne de cheveux. (Eugène Voltz, membre correspondant de la Commission Supérieure des Monuments Historiques, 1984).
