Description :	Type classique des Vierge en majesté. Au sommet de la tête de l'enfant, une mortaise encore visible recevait peut-être le tenon servant à l'attache d'une couronne. Le dos du siège est remplacé par un support de restauration. Sous la polychromie des traces se devinent de coloration plus anciennes. La robe, actuellement brun-jaune de la mère, paraît avoir été primitivement bleu foncé. L'enfant porte une robe rouge à bordure blanche.

Historique :	Le nom de Notre-Dame d'Alyn vient du nom de la rue où elle occupait autrefois une niche. Elle a été transportée en 1699 sur l'ordre de l'évêque Coislin à la chapelle de l'hôpital de la ville, la statue récemment restaurée est abritée aujourd'hui à la sacristie de l'église paroissiale.
