Description :	Le corps et la tête sont sculptés dans une seule pièce sur laquelle se greffent les bras au droit des épaules.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le Christ, aux yeux fermés, vient d'expirer. La tête s'incline vers l'épaule droite. La figure, aux traits réguliers, à la bouche légèrement entrouverte, est encadrée par une barbe courte que rejoignent les extrémités de la moustache. Les cheveux, ceints d'un étroit cerceau en guise de couronne d'épines, s'étalent sur la nuque. La cage thoracique est fortement marquée par les côtes saillantes percées sur la droite par la blessure de la lance. Le corps s'est affaissé sous son poids en déportant légèrement vers la droite les genoux ployés sous le périzonium dont les plis tombent de part et d'autre des hanches. Les pieds croisés sont attachés par un seul clou. Les doigts sont crispés. Le titulus, timbré de l'inscription INRI en capitales romaines, se déroule au sommet de la croix (Eugène Voltz, membre correspondant de la Commission Supérieure des Monuments Historiques, avril 1985).
