Historique :	La facture du buffet semble étrangère à la Lorraine. Peut-être est-il l'oeuvre de Joseph Le Picard, originaire de Liège et installé à Metz à partir de 1726, ou bien de Henry Pescheur. Le buffet ne faisait qu'un seul corps à l'origine.
