Description :	Le retable somptueux, posé sur un gradin orné, est composé sur le thème d'un ordre de colonnes et de pilastres corinthiens juchés sur des piédestaux. Les deux colonnes médianes s'avançent quelque peu : au-dessus d'elles la corniche décrochée en dés reçoit les départs à doubles courbures d'un fronton brisé. Les colonnes extérieures se prolongent par des statues : à droite, un saint évêque, à gauche, une sainte martyr. Cette architecture met en valeur en son centre un cadre, qui se redresse au sommet en demi-cercle et enferme, peinte sur toile, une Crucifixion. Dans la coupure du fronton se greffe une sorte de tabernacle pris sous une moulure en segment de cercle, où se détache une Ascension. Le tombeau de l'autel est rectangulaire.
